There were two great results last night as the Under 13s rounded off their first season of league football and the Under 12s penultimate game saw them clinch the runners up spot in the league.
The Under 12s welcomed mid table Lydney to St John’s Cricket Club and put in a dominant performance, winning the game 15-1 in the end. Captain Finley Jones went on to score 7 in an impressive individual performance, Brandon Donnelly hitting 4, Josh Horrobin 3 and Brandon Barnett 1. Brandon Barnett also picked up man of the match.
The Under 13s final game of the season saw them host Abbeymead Rovers, after taking the lead through Josh Woodroffe Abbeymead pulled one back just before half time. Cinderford went on to score two late goals through a 40 yard Connor Emsley free kick and a neat finish from George Ferson. That result secured 6th place for the side in a competitive Cheltenham league.
