Trials are open to everyone from any club that would like to play for Cinderford Town next season, please feel free to invite anyone you feel could be interested in bringing their child to Cinderford Town next season. We are especially looking for current Under 15 players as we look to run two Under 16 Sunday teams next season.
Junior Premier League Trials
We’re pleased to say that we have been accepted into the JPL for Under 13s, Under 14s, Under 15s and Under 16s. As such trials for these teams will run at the same time as trials for the grassroots sides. We aim to run both Junior Premier League and grassroots sides in the above ages.
To register for a trial please fill in the form below…
Current players do not need to register as they will automatically be invited. Please select the age group your child will be in next season, not this. For example if your child is in Year 7, they will class as Under 13 (Year 8).
Why join Cinderford Town?
Cinderford Town is the highest ranked club in the Forest of Dean and one of the highest ranked in Gloucestershire with huge ambitions to grow bigger over the next few years. A brand new stadium and state of the art 4G pitch is set to be ready in the 2020/21 season and the youth section have also joined the Junior Premier League in order to provide the highest level of football locally. In order to provide as much football as possible we try to run 2 teams in each age group. We have highly qualified coaches including 4 UEFA B coaches and also FA Level 3 and Level 2 coaches. We provide goalkeeper specific training and also a pathway through to Under 18 football, with the club also looking to setup additional senior teams in the not too distant future to develop that pathway even further.
Nb. We request that any parent who is unhappy or disagrees with the concept of the club running trials or is unwilling to accept that their child may not be selected does not trial. Unfortunately we have a lot of players wanting to play for the club and in a small town have limited facilities and coaches available to accommodate everyone. Attending the trials will be taken as confirmation that you both agree with the club running trials and accept that your child may or may not be selected. If you do not agree then please do not attend.
