Congratulations to the Under 10s who put in a great performance to overcome Cam Everside in the cup semi final this weekend.  In a tight game that went all the way to penalties every Cinderford player converted to see them through to their second final after their successful run last season.

The Under 10s will now face Minchinhampton in the final to be played at Frampton Upon Severn on Sunday May 3rd, kick off time to be confirmed.

The Under 11 Colts went down 2-1 to Ashelworth Woodpeckers in their semi final with Ashelworth hitting the winner in the last few seconds of the game.  The Under 11s took the lead through Taylor Blaby mid way through the second half but two late goals for Ashelworth secured the victory.

The Under 8 Colts were also in cup action but also went out in their semi final vs Wotton Rovers in another closely contested game.  It was a superb achievement from the side to reach that stage though after the side was only put together shortly before the season started and contained two 6 year olds playing their first season of games.

Elsewhere Cinderford Town Under 8s continued their highly successful season with another great performance against Abbeymead Lions on Saturday morning.  Both sides will meet each other in the Gloucester Youth League cup final at the end of April so they will be hoping for a similar performance on the day.

The Under 12s game vs Red Marley and the Under 13s game vs Abbeymead were both postponed as the opposition couldn’t raise sides.
