Success continued within the youth teams this week when the under 14s confirmed the Cheltenham Youth League Divison 2 title with a win over Charlton Rovers Greens this weekend. The side went into the game needing a win to be confirmed champions and did it in style with a 10-0 victory with goals from Tyler Trattles x4, Kieren James x3, Michael Harrison, Scott Jackson and a first ever goal for defender Sophie Wicks.

The Under 14s have won every league game with the exception of 1 and are also far and away the leading goalscorers in the league.

Whilst the side have performed superbly as a team all season special mention should go to two players who both hit the 40 goal mark this weekend. Striker Tyler Trattles and attacking midfielder Kieren James have now scored 41 goals each this season in what has been a superb personal achievement for both, hopefully we’ll be seeing them (and a few others) in a first team shirt in a few years.

Finally a special mention should be made of manager Sid Martin and coach Danny Poole who have inspired this season’s fantastic achievements and will look to build on it still further next season.
