Trials for next season’s Cinderford Town Under 18 Midland Floodlit Youth League side will take place on June 17th.

The Midland Floodlit Youth League gives young players the opportunity to play very high level football against the likes of Hereford, Gloucester City, Cheltenham Town, Bishops Cleeve and more.

Games for the Midland Floodlit Youth League take place midweek on Cinderford Town’s main pitch.  This year 4 of the Under 18 side made appearances for Cinderford Town’s first team and we are keen to continue that progression.  Paul Michael, Cinderford Town’s manager, has already confirmed that players showing promise will be training regularly with the first team so it gives the Under 18 players a real opportunity to progress to Southern League football, an opportunity not available with some other clubs.

The first trials will take place on Saturday June 17th, to register complete the form below and we will be in touch with all the information.  There will initially be 2 trials which will be small sided games and we’d ideally like to see all players at both trials, on completion of the 2nd trial, a selection of players will then be invited back for a full 11 a side trial match.

Players must be able to commit to regular midweek matches as well as training throughout the season.  Please do not register if you cannot commit to this.

For those also looking into education options, we are also running an academy scholarship this year, more information can be found at www.academy.cinderfordtown.co.uk.  If you have already registered for the academy and have trialled you do not need to register and the club will be in touch, if you registered but haven’t yet trialled then please register for these trial sessions.

All interested players should complete the form below to register…
