The Under 11 Colts went into their crucial game vs top of the table Wickwar needing to win to keep in with a chance of winning the league title and they didn’t disappoint putting in a great performance to win 2-1.  Goals from Taylor Blaby and an own goal kept the Colts in the title hunt, Jason Heaphy picking up man of the match.

The Under 13s faced bottom of the league FC Lakeside Reds in their fixture and ran out comfortable 8-0 winners.  Joshua Woodroffe keeping up his incredible goalscoring since christmas with another hatrick before taking over from James Martin in goal.  James came out to score 2 in 10 minutes, other goals coming from Connor Emsley x2 and Jimmy Wicks.  Scott Jackson getting man of the match for a dominant midfield performance.

The Under 12s faced top of the table Longlevens for the 3rd time this season and went down to the only goal of the match which came early in to the encounter.  The result leaves the Under 12s in 2nd place and almost certainly out of the title race unless Longlevens have a major slip but a 2nd place finish will be a superb first season for the team in the Gloucester Youth League.  Kyran Edwards picking up man of the match.

The Under 15s remained top of the Cheltenham division 2 with a hard fought 1-1 victory against Fintan.  Despite going a goal down early in the second half the 15s continued to play good football and got a deserved equaliser with 10 minutes to go.

Elsewhere there were great performances from the Under 10s vs Rodborough Rams and the Under 8 Colts continued their great form with another impressive display against Frampton Youth.  The Under 9s unfortunately went out of the cup suffering defeat at the hands of both Quedgeley Wanderers and Ashelworth Woodpeckers in a busy weekend for them.

Next week is semi finals day for the Under 11 Colts, Under 10s and Under 8 Colts who follow the Under 12s who also made a semi final appearance and the Under 8s who made it through to the cup final a couple of weeks ago.
