We’re pleased to announce that the trial dates for our Under 18s will be on the following days..

Wednesday June 15th – 18:30
Saturday June 18th – 11:00
Wednesday June 22nd – 18:30

Cinderford Town Under 18s have applied to join the Midland Floodlit Youth League with game at The Causeway. The Under 18 team is the ideal springboard to the first team and as such we are looking for the best players in the Forest of Dean and surrounding areas to trial with the club.

The Midland Floodlit Youth League contains sides including Gloucester City, Hereford United and Evesham so it’s a real chance for players to prove their ability and get the opportunity to progress into the first team.

The side will be coached by Brian Burke, a UEFA B coach who has previously coached with Liverpool Football Club and Ruardean Hill Rangers. We have had a lot of interest in the trials so far and have lots signed up so please do not leave it too late. All players should register in advance of trials and not just turn up on the night as they may not be considered if trial spaces are full.

When selected each player will be supplied with a Cinderford Town training kit and tracksuit which must be worn to all games. A game has already be confirmed vs Northern Senior Side Woolaston on July 9th.

To register for the trials please complete the form below and we will contact you with all the information.

Trials are also being run in younger age groups, for more information please visit TRIALS

Hello, I turn 18 in August and was wondering if there is any chance that I would be able to play for the under 18’s team if I attend the upcoming trials for the team?

I’m afraid that you would still need to be 17 on August 31st to quality for the side.

    Thank you for the enquiry.
