Cinderford Town Under 9s have finished runners up in the Under 9 Gary Lee Shield following a defeat against an excellent FC Highnam side. Despite starting the game the stronger of the two teams, they were unable to take advantage of several chances that were created.
The team can be very proud of themselves for reaching the final having beaten some very strong teams enroute and every player should be proud of the way they performed on the day.
Regardless of the result the players had a great out and will be aiming to go one step further next season.
